How to Join the Orchestra
Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Lanier High School, 1201 Payton Gin Road, Austin, (map below). We meet in the band hall. There is ample parking in front of the building.
Musicians of all skill levels are welcome to join us. There are no formal auditions for APO. Some wind sections may be full (this can vary), but we can always use more string players. You are welcome to attend rehearsals to observe or sit in, but it is advisable to email us before you drop in as occasionally we rehearse at another location.
